Who Are We
The CPFS Counseling Center provides comprehensive counseling and therapy services to children and adults and their families in need in the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and Inland Counties. The Counseling Center is a program of California Pediatric & Family Services. The Executive Director of the Counseling Services is
Louise F. Van Zee, Ph.D., the Founder and President
of the Counseling and Educational Services. Dr. Van Zee and her Staff is
serving the Southern California area since 1984. Licensed in
California, Dr. Van Zee is also a certified trauma therapist.
Certified by EMDRIA (the EMDR
International Association), and an EMDRIA-approved consultant, Dr. Van
Zee has been an active participant in the professional EMDR community
since 1998. Her experience in trauma therapy includes work in childhood
and sexual abuse programs in LA County, as well as at our mental health
center and educational programs.The General Manager is
Garry G. Van Zee, MS, BCBA who is our charismatic
leader in the field of Psychology, Behavior Management and Education,
concerned with Quality services, Training and ongoing Development.
Our Clinical Supervisor is
Dennis Brotman, M.S., MFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Program
Manager for the therapy training and supervision program, Mr. Brotman
is an AAMFT Certified Supervisor.
In addition to clinical services,
The CPFS Counseling Center offers training, consultation, and educational programming for individuals with special needs, and their
families.
Our state-of-the-art services includes but is not limited to
in-home services, Center based or School based services, and supervision
