Parent Education
All Parents Want To Be Good Parents; we have learned this to be very accurate. Parents want to enjoy their kids, have fun with them, and have a good family life with their kids, even when they become teenagers. Parents however have never in any time in history more unsure of their parental role. Live is so different from when they were young, so what strategies and techniques do prepare the children best for their future life as an adult?
Just like with all good programs of learning,
this type of parenting is based on loving and supportive
relationships. Under the umbrella of supportive love and
understanding, children learn to hold themselves accountable and
develop an internal voice that includes understanding of the
consequences of the choices they are going to make.
Combined with learning to chose, making mistakes, being
accountable for poor decisions, this internal voice over time
will make the child capable to understand and stand up to peer
pressure, without experiencing their parent as policeman or
rescuing safety net.
